It's easy. We find more defects than our competition. The end result is you save more money. Most contracts obligate the seller to make repairs or give you credit at closing. The more defects your inspector finds, the more money you save.

We don't rush. We don't do more than 2 inspections per day. This allows us the time to do a thorough inspection of your new home. This also means we charge more than most of our competitors. You don't want a cheap inspection. A cheap inspection may be the most expensive thing you'll ever buy. Cheap inspectors often know less and do less, which is one reason they're cheap.

A cheap inspection often costs you thousands of dollars down the road because of missed or overlooked defects. Another way to look at this is; if O.J. Simpson had hired the cheapest lawyer in town, do you think he would be playing golf today?

The more thorough we are, the more defects we find - the more money you save.

Weíre independent. We don't have any "Preferred Vendor" or monetary affiliations with any real estate agent or realty company. We work with all types of real estate professionals, but we donít depend upon real estate companies for referrals. We donít "soft sell" the problems with a house to avoid "killing a deal" and to keep a real estate agent happy. We give you the facts Ė straight forward and unbiased!

A Word From Our "Senior Inspector"...

I know more. Check my credentials and compare them to the competition. I teach home inspection classes to engineers and other home inspectors at a NAHI & ASHI approved training school. Iíve trained over 385 new home inspectors entering the profession, including many local competitors. I have to know more than my competition does to be able to train other inspectors. The more I know, the more money you save.

I am the most experienced home inspector in the greater Kansas City area. I started doing home inspections full time in 1984, and I did inspections part-time for 8 years before that. Up until 1984, I made a living as a home builder, foundation contractor, and as a service trainer for a major heating and air conditioning manufacturer.

The award winning report system Iíve developed is used by over 147 inspectors across the country, including a Past National ASHI President and several state NAHI and ASHI Chapter Presidents. We write better reports. They're thorough, easy to understand and well organized. That means you can often get more repairs made by the seller.

If needed, we take digital photos for your records. This can help eliminate a lot of arguments over needed repairs, which means you save money.

Buying a new home is probably the biggest investment youíll ever make. And itís a decision that will affect you for years to come. The process can be extremely stressful and confusing. And of course, there is always considerable risk involved when making such a large purchase decision. A professional inspection will significantly reduce your risk and help make the entire home buying process easier and less stressful. We really enjoy helping our clients in this process Ė customer service is our highest priority.

We strongly encourage our clients to attend the inspection. You should feel free to ask the inspector any questions you have at that time. The inspector can not only discuss the problem areas of the home but point out the good points as well. We can also explain the  routine maintenance that is needed to keep the house in top condition. This helps you get the most benefit from the home inspection, and you gain a better understanding of how the systems and components that make up your home, function with each other.

Youíll get a comprehensive report that is easy to read and understand. Material defects and conditions identified during the inspection will be included in the report.

Armed with the information our report provides, you can make your decision to buy, not buy, or renegotiate the sale with confidence.
